Artist's Comments

This is a change to my normal black and white portraits :D I came across some coloured pencil portraits which really inspired me so I desided to go out and spend a bit on new coloured pencils.

This is my first ever coloured pencil portrait and im pleased with the results. It came out way better than I expected.

My scanner hasn't scaned this brilliantly. It looks far better in real life.

If you don't know who this is this is another portrait of Ruki the lead vocalist of the band The GazettE. If you have been on my gallery regular you would have seen that I have already done a portrait of Ruki. [link] this is a link to my other portrait of him. (yes it is a him)

I hope you like it guys :D

Time Spent: 2 and a half days
Medium Used: Coloured pencils, HB Mechanical Pencil

holy crap...the colors in this are BEAUTIFUL. you HAVE to do more color work. the ruffles are sooo beautiful, and his lips really pop out. *__* amazing job with his hair, eyes, and the ear too >___> this is awesome
